Brett White

Tennis Staff Professional

Brett began playing tennis in 2010 as an 8th grader going into High School. With an instant passion for tennis, he began competing in Missouri Valley USTA tournaments across the Midwest.

In high school, Brett won back-to-back 6A Kansas State Doubles Championships in 2014-2015. Brett also served as team captain of Blue Valley Northwest 6A Team State Champions. With this success, Brett began coaching Juniors tennis while in high school. Brett was nominated into his high school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.

Brett went on to play college tennis at Washburn University competing in both singles and doubles from 2015-2016. After suffering a series of knee injuries, Brett served as the Men’s and Women’s teams temporary Assistant Coach. Brett transferred to Kansas State University in January 2017. After recovering from his knee injury, he went on to compete for the K-State club tennis team, leading them to victories in national tournaments in Arizona and Illinois.

Brett is USTA SafeSport certified. Brett brings his diverse experience of coaching various ages and levels to Woodside – along with his contagious passion and energy for the game. Brett emphasizes development of the fundamentals of the game and deriving growth through competition.
