Paloma started her journey as a massage therapist in 2016 as a sustainable farmer and caretaker for her grandmother in the small village of Rapa Nui, where she developed a connection between care for the land and care for the body. After returning to the United States in 2019 she attended Wellspring School of Allied Health and graduated in 2020. She specializes in myofascial techniques and has had a private practice since 2020.
Philosophy
We are our own best healer. As a myofascial release therapist, Paloma’s approach is grounded in the profound connection between the Earth and body. She believes that our physical well-being is intrinsically linked to the natural world and that healing can be achieved by harmonizing this relationship. Paloma’s practice is rooted in the understanding that the body (and all our bodies in unison) is influenced by the rhythm of the Earth and true wellness emerges when we align ourselves with these natural patterns.
Mind/Body Balance
The mind and body are not separate entities but are part of a unified system where each influences and reflects the state of the other. Paloma’s approach stems from the understanding that physical tension and chronic pain are often manifestations of emotional and psychological stress and that addressing the whole is essential for effective healing.
