Foundations of Yoga I | Thursdays | 10:00am – 11:15am
This six-week course is for anyone curious about safely exploring the basic elements of yoga and its benefits in a small-group setting. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome. No prior experience is required to participate. Class size is limited to eight students and minimum of four students is required.
In this course you will be introduced to the basic elements of a yoga practice: breathing, the postures, mindfulness, meditation and yoga philosophy. You will learn safe alignment principles associated with fundamental yoga poses, simple breathing exercises, mindfulness and relaxation techniques and basic yoga concepts. Each class will focus on a different category of poses.

Foundations of Yoga II | Tuesdays| 10:00am – 11:15am
This six-week, small group session is for anyone looking to expand upon their basic knowledge of yoga and its benefits in a small-group setting. Each week we will study a different family of postures, moving beyond the basic poses introduced in The Foundations of Yoga I course. Class prerequisite – completion of The Foundations of Yoga part I, or attendance in Lisa’s Basics class. Class size is limited to eight students and minimum of four students is required.
In this course you will review the basic elements of a yoga practice: breathing, the postures, mindfulness or meditation and yoga philosophy, and then dive deeper, exploring additional yoga postures, simple pranayama (breathing) exercises, and mindfulness and meditation techniques.

Cost: $180 per person for the six-week course (to be paid in full at time of registration)
