Tyler Semmes

Tyler is a USPTA and USTA SafeSport certified tennis professional. He is an avid tennis player and has been playing competitively since 2009. After switching over from baseball, and with only 2 years of playing experience, he finished High School in 2010 as a 4A Semi-Finalist in Singles and in the Top 20 in the Louisiana USTA 18’s Junior rankings. Since graduating high school, Tyler has been very active in USTA Adult Tennis Leagues. He has captained and played on multiple teams that have won State and Sectional Championships in the USTA’s Southern Section. He has been coaching tennis since 2015, and previously served as the Director of Tennis at a tennis club in Louisiana for 2 years. His coaching style puts an emphasis on the strategy of the game and the improvement of swing mechanics and techniques.
