Originally from western Shawnee, Paige has lived in Brooklyn, NY for the past 9 years to study culinary arts at the Natural Gourmet Institute and has been working as a professional chef/baker ever since. Paige grew up dancing from an early age, until she went to the University of Kansas and quickly transitioned into group fitness as a means to fill that movement gap in her life. Teaching group fitness was her first job when she moved to NYC for culinary school, but ultimately became a major passion and something she’s become increasingly inspired and motivated by. After a decade of working in the food industry, while continuing to teach group fitness part-time, and all the aches and pains that come with a very physically demanding profession, she started working to address a lot of her own misalignments through yoga, flexibility training and ultimately Pilates. She discovered that she found more joy in teaching and helping others to work through their own fitness and movement goals, than she did cooking professionally, so she enrolled in a comprehensive Pilates teacher training in 2024. She’s passionate about making Pilates more accessible and approachable for all bodies and has loved learning about all of the benefits of Pilates exercises, well beyond just maintaining aesthetic physical fitness. Whether you’re new to Pilates, or hoping to build on an existing practice, Paige is looking forward to assisting you in achieving your movement goals.
