Step into the flavors of an Italian garden in this hands-on garden to table workshop. Guided by instructor Luke Welsh, you’ll plant and pot classic Mediterranean staples including cherry tomatoes, sweet basil, oregano and lemon balm while learning why these ingredients grow so well together and how they form the foundation of simple, vibrant Italian cooking. Along the way, you’ll gain practical tips for caring for your plants and using them in everyday dishes at home.
After planting, we’ll gather indoors to enjoy a family-style Italian garden inspired lunch that highlights the fresh herbs and flavors you’ve just explored. You’ll leave with freshly planted herbs and simple ideas for bringing those flavors into your own cooking.
Comfortable clothing and shoes are encouraged. All materials will be provided.
