A Sneak Pique inside Pique-Nique en Blanc 2015

This year we are going back to our Diner En Blanc roots with more table seating than ever before! Guests will be able to add a personal touch to the elegantly dressed tables with a token of community spirit. Share your table with other revelers in white and enjoy French baguettes and butter, savory charcuterie, and of course, your main dish. As the sun sets and shimmer appears, look amongst your fellow guests, and follow suit, as there may be more to this than meets the eye!

The original Diner en Blanc was created in Paris 25 years ago by François Pasquier who simply wanted to picnique with friends in forbidden places. Dîner en Blanc (the “dinner in white”) has grown into an international social event with tens of thousands of white-frocked guests and guests of guests who come together in landmark spaces to dine, dance and revel. As François likes to say, “Dinner parties are what create bonds of friendship.”

What’s in Your Basket?
Guests will have a choice of picnic-style sandwich: vegetarian with brie, apple, arugula, sun dried tomato, pesto OR chicken with smoked local cheddar and Dijon PLUS Mediterranean tabbouleh and a chilled green tomato and apple soup.

In addition, your dining experience will include:

• Dessert station with fresh pastries and made-to-order crepes
• Charcuterie station with meat, cheese and fruit
• Community dining tables with bread, butter, and spreads
