Woodside Health & Tennis Club Lead Trainer Matt Scheipeter
Matt has been training professionally for five years, nearly three now at Woodside. Originally from St. Louis, Matt moved to Kansas on a college soccer scholarship to Benedictine College where he studied Exercise Science and Secondary Education. While his training programs are often based off experience and education, he is always looking for innovative ways to improve methods and techniques. Well versed in the human anatomy and bio-mechanics, Matt is passionate about how the human body is designed to move and how to train in order to correct imbalances and improve range of motion, speed, and strength.
Woodside Personal Trainers are required to have specific training and certifications, as well as extensive continuing education. But personalities and experience give each trainer a unique approach. Matt’s training philosophy is firmly centered around doing things the proper way from the start. Whether he is working with youth, professional athletes or business executives, Matt makes it his job to train a body with maximum efficiency, speed and strength in a pain free manner.
“It is a passion of mine to help others succeed and improve. I have been fortunate to work at Woodside and have met some truly amazing people. The people I train at the club and know from the club are what keeps me coming back every day.”
